DISPOSAL & RECYCLE CENTER: Our weekday hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.**We no longer accept personal checks for payment at the Disposal & Recycle Center. We accept Cash or Credit Card. (not American Express)
YARD WASTE SEASON: Weekly yard waste service for the 2026 season is in full swing and will be picked up on your service day.**Yard waste is accepted year-round at the Disposal & Recycle Center.

The Buckingham Companies has been serving the communities in the southwest metro area since 1968. Through all the years the we have been providing a host of services for residential, commercial and roll off customers.
Our loyal customers have come to rely on our dependable and efficient service for their waste removal needs. Currently Buckingham Companies serves the communities of Prior Lake, Savage, Burnsville, Belle Plaine, Elko\New Market, rural Shakopee, St. Louis Park, Jordan, and Lakeville.
In addition to our standard trash service, we offer single sort recycling, yard waste removal service (April-November) and roll off boxes hauling a variety of materials for all your residential and commercial needs.
Recycling has always been important to us. We currently operate our disposal and recycle center on location here in Prior Lake for the benefit of our community. This resource has made us the prime choice for trash, recycling, bulk item and miscellaneous disposal needs. Being active in our communities is a key component of our company culture and we love it!
